Chalet die Gletscher [“the glaciers”] is an architect designed three storey 6-8 bed luxury Swiss ski chalet with spectacular view from all rooms over the mountains and glaciers of the Lotschental [hidden] Valley – which is on the opposite side of the Rhone valley to Verbier and Zermatt [both of which can easily be skied in a day or half day car/bus excursion if you can bear to leave Lauchernalp].
The ski-in walk-out chalet is conveniently located in the 2100 metre high ancient mountain village of Lauchernalp three minutes from the first ski lift, shops, bars, and restaurants of the recently upgraded 33 kilometre Lauchernalp Ski Field which because of its height of over 3000 metres has one of the best all season snow covers in the Valais region – and is ideal for all classes of skiers particularly intermediate and advanced skiers.
